Winter Wonderland – Tacoma, Washington

I can’t decide which season is my favorite to shoot at Wild Hearts Farm. This beautiful winter wonderland session might take the cake. 

Last week my friends at Wild Hearts Farm posted a beautiful photo of their pond and property covered in snow and ice. It was stunning! I couldn’t wait to get there and see the winter wonderland magic for myself. Two days later I swung by for some photography fun. Much of the snow had melted. However, the farm was still magical. I dusting of patchy snow remained and icicle could be found all around. Exactly what I went in search of. The golden hour this particular afternoon was breathtaking too. Everything came together beautifully!

I styled this shoot myself. The fur hat, corduroy pants (Ralph Lauren), button up flannel shirt (Tea) all were value village finds! Total wardrobe cost was $12. I love the hunt of thrift store shopping for stylized shoots. The sled was provided by our friends at Wild Heart Farm. They have an awesome ever growing prop collection.
