4 Fun Photography Session Ideas – Seattle Washington

Heleyna Holmes Photography is excited to share 4 fun photography session ideas with you!  Being surrounded by trees, tall grasses, and flowers gets my creative juices flowing. Sometime though, I like to bring something a little extra into my sessions.  It adds an element of fun and spontaneity to the session. Without further ado, here are 4 session theme ideas.

1.Tutus ~ Spinning, swirling, fluffy, tutus. Wearing a tutu immediately makes you want to dance around to feel it swish as you twirl, and when sitting down in a tutu the fabric surrounds you in a cuddly puddle of softness.

This photo session was held in Magnuson Park in NE Seattle. Magnuson Park is also the home to Heleyna Holmes Photography.

2. Flower Crowns ~ You can make them together as a fun craft project or purchase one pre-made. They can be real flowers, silk flowers, felt flowers, or even paper flowers. These delicate creations add just a touch of softness around a child’s face. They take the photos out of the everyday life and make the moment a touch more special. 3. Beach Balls ~Everyone loves a Beach Ball! Action shots galore – rolling, bouncing, hugging. It’s adorable seeing the littlest of kids pick up a ball half their size.

These photographs were taken on the beach near the lighthouse at Discovery Park. Discovery Park is located in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. 

4. Sun Hat~ Sun hat’s scream Summer! You can add that touch of a stylish bohemian look to your session. The perfect sun hat can complete a summer outfit to take it beyond everyday attire.
