Wild Hearts Farm | Tacoma Washington
I’m in love with this location! Typically, when I do backyard shoots for families, their yards don’t have two 200lb pigs, 2 pygmy Nigerian goats, 30 chickens, 2 roosters, and two dogs. Wild Hearts farm in Tacoma was amazing to shoot at! There were so many fun areas to shoot in, that I felt spoiled for choice. They had a 100yr old farm, a vegetable patch, tall grasses, a tire swing, some amazing weeping willows… This is one of those places that you find yourself wanting to just stay. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and even the air feels different. I could feel myself relaxing, and just taking it all in.
For the boys session, I really wanted to capture a typical summer day on the farm. The tire swing was the perfect spot for some action shots. Of course, I had to get the iconic red barn behind them for a few. Their adorable dogs popped in for a couple too. Too cute! Since it was a bright sunny day, when the youngest got sick of his shirt, we just went with it and got some fun shots of the boys running around in their shorts.
I enjoyed shooting here so much that I’m actually opening up two days of photo sessions at Wild Hearts Farm this Fall! I think it’s going to be gorgeous. The pumpkins in the pumpkin patch will be orange, the fall colors with the barn will be stunning. I can’t wait! Since I’m only setting up there for two days and spots are limited, make sure to save your spot, HERE!
I also have a few more blog post headed your way in the coming days showing off all of what Wild Hearts Farms has to offer. I cannot wait for you all to see the magic I have made there in the past couple of week.
