The Seattle Momtogs was started in 2011 by me, Heleyna Holmes. I am an award-winning natural light child and family photographer in Seattle Washington. My vision for the group was to get moms of all skill levels using their DSLR cameras. I plan weekly meetups to get moms out and about with their kids and cameras. Watching others confidence with their DSLR cameras grow brings me so much joy. I often see great improvement in members abilities in just one meetup. Teaching what I love comes naturally to me. How could I not share that gift with the world!?!?!
Since starting our group back up this Spring we have visited many of Seattle’s most popular parks. Our list include Golden Gardens, Washington Park Arboretum, Gasworks Park, Magnuson Park, Parson Garden and Mathews Beach. I am currently in the planning stages for our summer bucket list. Including a trip aboard a Washington State Ferry. Doesn’t that sound like fun!
