Fifteens years as a photographer, and this hidden gem continues to be one of my absolute favorite places to shoot. Located between Seattle and Everett this location is worth the drive!
A Little about the Lighthouse
Built on filled tidelands, this 1950s light house is surrounded by 14 acres of sound views and shores. The Salt water beaches are home too many playful harbor seals and marine life.
The grounds were placed on National Registry of Historic Place in 1906. Nestled next to the wooden lighthouse are a keepers house and gift shop.
The building all have a pacific northwest nautical look & feel. Painted beautifully white with green trim, the oversized porches and steps are the perfect backdrop for freezing time for generation to come.

About this Shoot
I photographed this session in June of 2022. The session started around 6:00 pm on a overcast evening. The tide was pretty high, the driftwood made for some great family action photos and kept the kids close! My recommendation would be to book this location on a summer weeknight. See ya there!
