Sunset Photo Session

I am in absolute LOVE with this impromptu golden hour photo session (sunset) with my middle daughter. Isn’t she just the sweetest in her little felt hat.

Wild Hearts Farm

Last weekend Wild Hearts Farm held an open house for photographers. The event was a lot of fun and a huge success with over 100 people in attendance. I loved helping Jodall man the welcome table and talking shop with other Seattle/Tacoma child and family photographers. Fun!

As the event was winding down and the sun was starting to set, I popped over to the pond to photograph some beautiful golden hour photos. I love love love shooting directly in to the sun at golden hour, this particular evening was especially magical.

My daughter would have much rather been playing with the other kids. Typical photographers child. Ha! But she gave me approx 10 mins of her time so I could play a little with the golden light. I loved the way the light shaped around her and leaked through the long grasses and dried flowers we styled for her. So pretty!
