A Little Cowboy ~ Wild Hearts Farm
I recently did a session where I added a pop of red (boots & ribbon) to bring my vision to life. You can see the photos from that session HERE on my Pop of Red blog post. For this session at Wild Hearts Farm I added even more red and kicked up the farm feel a notch. I just adore how these turned out!
At first this little cowboy played hard to get. He was totally sizing me up. That was no problem because he happened to be standing in perfect golden hour light. Everybody wins! As he warmed up he slowly made his way towards me. Stopping to slowly walk/sit on a log that doubled as garden border. It happened to be the perfect spot for some creative black and white photos. Once he reached the farm house porch this little cowboy came out of his shell. In fact he turned into a complete ham. I love the porch shots because he is surrounded by many rich red tones, while wearing various shades of red himself. This little guy was having a great time. I love that his personality really shines through these photos. In one or two shots on the porch he reminds me of Woody from Toy Story. Love it!
I’m excited to be returning to Wild Hearts Farm this Fall. Two days of farm sessions sold out almost instantly. Due to demand I am thrilled to announce I have opened up two more days this fall. Those days are Sunday, September 25th & Sunday, October 2nd. The fall colors with the red barn wood is going to be stunning. To book a fall session at Wild Hearts Farm, click HERE.
