I am behind on my Life in 52 project. Cold and flu season had our household down for the count. The good news is all the images have been taken! I am excited to get all caught up on the blog end of things soon. Today I am sharing my week three images.
Woodland Lace – First Birthday Photos
For week three I traveled to Wild Hearts Farm in Tacoma. I was excited to photograph a friend from high school and her two kiddos. Friends get the best treatment here at Heleyna Holmes Photography so we did a little of everything.
Wild Hearts Farm has a gorgeous Woodland Lace set in their all-white natural light studio. We took some brother/sister photos in that set. Featuring one of my all-time favorite dresses from the Well Dressed Wolf. I love the versatility of the woodland lace set. It works really well for boys & girls. FUN!
The focus of this shoot was on Baby A – He is turning one this month!
One is such a fun age for a portrait session. I love all the genuine smiles and little wobbly steps that come with this age. This little guy was a great example of just how fun one can be. He loved hanging with his big sis and thought she was very entertaining. Baby A also showed off his new found independence that comes with being able to toddle around.
~Mom & Me Portraits~
We popped mom in for a few Mom & Me photos with both kids too. Documenting the mama & child bond is of the utmost importance to me. So often as moms we are the ones taking the photos. Photographing my friend with her little people makes my heart happy. Baby A and Big Sister H loved hanging with mom for a few shots too.
~Valentine’s Day Photos~
Last but not least we added a few Valentine-themed design elements to our shoot. Jodall – Wild Hearts Farm owner did such a good job on her Valentine set this year. I jumped at the chance to get the upcycled angel wings and bow & arrows in this session. I also really love the pop of red in the white studio!
