Pre-COVID the heart of my home was the kitchen. We would have breakfast together then head to school. After school we would have snacks and homework check-ins at the kitchen island. Followed by wrapping up our day with dinner and dessert negotiations all in the kitchen.
These days we spend A LOT more time at home. My bedroom is everyone’s new favorite space to be together. Many more mid-day snuggles, movies & stories.
Followed by late night clever & confident bed invaders. I secretly LOVE hearing their little feet sneaking up the stairs in the middle of the night. I am big on keeping my bed cozy, with crisp white sheets (reads: hotel quality that smell like bleach). I can’t blame them for wanting in on the king size goodness.
These photos were taken for a “window light” photo project for my Seattle Mom & Dad Togs photo group.
