What could be sweeter than celebrating a big milestone with cake, adorable smiles, and the stunning scenery of the Pacific Northwest? Last August, I had the absolute joy of capturing a precious cake smash session on the shores of Mukilteo Beach and around the historical buildings & lighthouse. It was pure magic!

A Picture-Perfect Morning

The morning was warm beautiful, a quintessential August morning in Washington. The air was crisp and the waters of Puget Sound sparkled invitingly. This sweet little one arrived with a smile as radiant as the sun, ready to dive into the sugary goodness!

We started our session with some family portraits along the shores. Capturing the iconic Mukilteo Lighthouse in the background provided the most incredible backdrop. Her little toes in the sand were simply heartwarming.

Cake Smash in a Historic Setting

For the main event – the cake smash! – we moved to the porch of a historic building. This charming building, with its rich history, provided a unique setting. The porch offered beautiful natural light with a nautical feel, perfect for capturing all the messy, joyful moments.

The cake smash was an perfection. The sweet delight on this little face, the sticky fingers, the pure fun – memories her family will cherish.
