#1: Bed shoot!

Aside from letting my creative soul thrive behind the lens, I also enjoy working the art direction end of each and every shoot.

Scouring thrift store, yard sales and craigslist for creative elements makes my heart sing. Finding just the right piece, in the perfect color & texture, from a specific decade is such a thrill.

For the shoot below we went with a shabby chic/vintage feel.  Did I mention I got to do all the shopping?

I was overjoyed with the way each and every creative element came together.

Watching wee-ones  explore the world one little step at a time is precious.  I adore the way their little eyes fill with joy as they reach mom or dads outstretched arms. ~LOVE~

This little girl is precious,the flower in her hair is just the right touch. Her happiness with the new “mobility” really comes across. It looks like you had great weather, wonderful lighting.

It rained & it SNOWED!

(At one point I am pretty sure it rained and snowed SIDEWAYS)

Nothing the die-hard Seattle Momtogs couldn’t handle. Our little ones on the other… not so much.

Good News: Our theme for January was “All Bundled Up” so the kiddos were just semi-popsicle by the end of our shoot.

Photos were taken at Magnuson Park located in NE Seattle.
